For Policy in brief go here: Economy, Housing, Immigration reform, healthcare, crime prevention, womens, transportation.
PRIDE MONTH is JUNE and we support and protect our LGBQT+ community
I am running for Congress to fight for working families, lower the crushing cost of living, and restore accountability in government. I will take on the housing crisis by stopping large corporations from buying up homes, capping excessive rent increases, and creating more affordable housing opportunities for Californians, including expanding rent control.
I support my coalition partner, the National Infrastructure Bank Act, and my 11 point economic plan to retrain entertainment workers and union members, and create good paying jobs in clean energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, film, and emerging industries while helping retrain workers impacted by monopoly mergers and AI disruption.
I believe in universal healthcare with a private insurance add on, there are several paths we can achieve this.It works in Norway, France, Sweden Australia and many other countries. Healthcare must be affordable and accessible, with lower prescription drug costs, stronger preventative cancer and Alzheimer’s programs, and expanded mental health services. I am fighting for women's protections in healthcare.
I support strong community policing, proper officer training, youth opportunity programs, and disaster preparedness to keep neighborhoods safe.
I am a first generation immigrant. I support secure borders alongside humane immigration reform rooted in dignity, due process, and practical visa modernization. We must totally reform the current ICE system and move away from detention centers. We may have to consider an amnesty pathway for deserving individuals without serious criminal convictions. We have not had one since 1986.
At the same time, simply abolishing ICE overnight could leave people languishing in an even more broken system while a replacement is established and I am concerned what its' replacement would be under this administration but I am open to abolishing it and comprehensive reform that keeps people's dignity. .Every country has a right to secure it's border and most countries do. Bringing all enforcement functions entirely under United States Citizenship and Immigration Services may also endanger the humanitarian mission of USCIS, which processes millions of legal immigration, asylum, and citizenship applications. We need a balanced, accountable system that protects both national security and human dignity while modernizing immigration for the future.
I will fight for environmental protection, climate, our oceans, wildfire prevention, clean water, and infrastructure that strengthens California communities. I support affordable education, workforce training, and Title IX protections for students. I believe small businesses must be protected from monopolies and given real opportunities to grow.
Above all, I will fight for ethical leadership, transparency, and government that serves people instead of powerful special interests. I am here to serve all the district regardless of background.
I’m Anna Wilding, a Senior White House Correspondent (2015–2017 and 2025), filmmaker, photographer, nonprofit founder, and business leader who believes California deserves ethical leadership and real solutions.
My work has taken me from the White House and State Department to international film productions, disaster recovery efforts, and advising Fortune 100 companies. I am also the exhibiting photographer behind Celebrate Hope: The Obama Collection, created in response to the racism and division I witnessed and as a statement of hope, dignity, and unity.
I’m not a career politician. I’m someone who has built businesses, led in times of crisis, and worked across media, technology, clean energy, and the arts. I’m running because California families deserve leaders who understand housing, jobs, healthcare, immigration reform, public safety, and the cost of living , and who know how to get things done.

Two of our top issues are economy and housing. I have a 11-point plan working with one of my coalition partners.
This image is from one of the Premiere's of my film Buddha Wild over ten years ago .The film was in response to ra-cism I witnessed against the Asian community , all backgrounds, at the time.

I am moderate when needed and progressive when it matters most.
